Journal Prompt 18: Music is one of my most favorite things ever!! It translates emotions that I can't even imagine putting into words. I love it. Today I want you to create a playlist of some kind. It can be your summer playlist, your July playlist, songs from your wedding day, or favorite songs of all time :) This one will be another fun one to look at down the road :)

This can guide can be for your city, town, or state. I am really excited to see these and to maybe even use them in my future when traveling!! Have fun with this!!!

Journal Prompt 20: Here is the age old question, what is in your bag?? This has always been a great photo prompt that i have seen all over the blog world. Today, you are going to write about the contents of YOUR bag, or illustrate it, or take a picture of it, whatever :D

3. Shape
4. Space
5. Texture

Journal Prompt 25: I want you to think about your day today. If you had to describe to me in one word, or one short phrase what would it be?? Us this phrase or word repeatedly on your page, trying out new fonts :)

"we can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make peace with ourselves."

today has been... ernjjksn emotional. it started with lots of crying... it turned into lunch with alex and danielle, which was a great distraction. we went to the mall afterwards and it was a much needed break from the emotional stress i've been dealing with the past few days. then home to work on a project i started, inspired by my best friend danielle.

it says, "my religious is simple my religion is kindness." i've heard this saying before, but never really thought about until i saw it on tumblr the other day. i've never really been religious. religion makes me uncomfortable. but when i saw this quote by the dalai lama i felt... connected. connected to this words. i felt a sense of someone knowing exactly what i've ever felt. i'm not sure if i feel the same way about being nice and kind to people as some do about religion, but i really feel a strong connection to it. i hate being mean to people, especially upon first meeting them. i know there are for sure exceptions to this, but... i don't know. it's just something i've been thinking about. i looked up other quotes by the dalai lama and i really like them. and i finally have words that really describe how i feel inside about somethings.

"all major religious traditions carry basically the same message, that is love, compassion and forgiveness the important thing is they should be part of our daily lives."

"be kind whenever possible. it is always possible."

"happiness is not something ready made. it comes from your own actions."

"if you have a particular faith or religion, that is good. but you can survive without it."

"if you want others to be happy, practice compassion. if you want to be happy, practice compassion."

"in the practice of tolerance, one's enemy is the best teacher."

"we can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make peace with ourselves."

"whether one believes in a religion or not, and whether one believes in rebirth or not, there isn't anyone who doesn't appreciate kindness and compassion."

"with realization of one's own potential and self-confidence in one's ability, one can build a better world."

i want to change. i'm in the midst of change. and even though this is something i want, i hate change. it's scary. so i'm trying my hardest to be strong and keep going.

i'm going to try to catch up on my journal challenge. i'm going to try to start posting more of my photography on here.

the clouds were super amazing tonight, which is why i chose these pictures. i'm going to try and post a few pictures at least once a week.

anyways. rgnknlskjtnh. not sure what to do now.

fears.

i've always known that i was afraid. but i've never openly talked about these fears with anyone. until today. i realized so much about my life and the fears that are holding me back. i'm not going to go into detail about most of it, but i'll say that i'm afraid i'm not important, i'm afraid i'll be abandoned, and i'm afraid that i will be forgotten. i learned some information about a person as well. and now i will have to try my hardest not to let them know they've lost most of my respect.

i know the first step to conquering that is realizing that i have an issue, and for the longest time i knew i had one, but wasn't sure what i was afraid of. now that i know... i feel better. it's kind of a sense of relief. it hurts a little bit, but i know it will help me move on. i kind of wish my mom hadn't have told me everything she did... but, i needed today.

and i am important.

don't forget that.

living in the now.

sooo... today. was. so. amazing.

AHH. i went back to flag :) and i'm for sure behind on my journal, but i don't caaare.

i was only there for about three hours, but in the time i was in flagstaff i feel like i (kind of) accomplished a lot. and more than anything i was motivated way more than ever to get back there. one of the best parts was that i go to see tj and not only for lunch, but he drove around with us for a little bit while i looked for jobs.

even above seeing tj, i got to talk to my mom. we talk all the time and mostly about really important things, but i realized so much about myself. we talked about my fears and she really helped to realize what's been holding me back lately. i'm pretty sure another blog will come soon detailing these fears, but for now i'll leave it at what a fantastic day i had.

oh, and i pretty much have three options for roommates. this... is the only thing really holding me back. BUT, right now i feel SO optimistic about everything.

one of the things my mom and i talked about on the way up there was opportunities and how a lot of people wait for life to happen to them. i recently posted a blog about how i'm not getting any opportunities thrown at me, so i'm creating my own opportunities.

if i just sit here, in chandler, and i wait for life to happen to me, then i will never be happy. i can't just think that opportunities for me to do what i want and to be happy is just going to happen. i have to make those things happen. and by moving to flagstaff i'm actually doing something.

i'm living.

and i couldn't be happier... for now :)

plans.

i LOVE being craft, but i hate not having money. haha. seriously, i've been working on these really awesome vases, but it called for spray paint. i figured i could just use regular paint... nooootttt really. haha. it looks horrible. oh well. someday i'll invest in spray paint make this work!

i bought mint green nail polish (kind of... super close! haha) i suck at painting my nails, so i have to wait for it to be super dry and them scrub it off of my finders.

anywayyysss. i'm in a pretty good mood today. i realized that while i COULD make everything work in flagstaff while living by myself i probably will get stressed out having little free time. so i'm officially looking for a roommate! and one possibility is REALLY exciting me :) i don't want to get too excited for it incase it doesn't happen... but we'll see how things go!
