day ten.

Journal Prompt 10: This prompt is all about collections. I am such a collector. I have too many collections but I love them all. I am definitely the type who moves on though to new collection depending on my mood and the seasons in my life. What do you collect? If anything. Do you collect buttons, clothes, shoes, friends, parking tickets, whatever!! Illustrate your collections. This will be fun to look back on someday and see how your collections have grown or have moved on :)




finished another one! this one was pretty easy, except for the whole figuring out what i collect thing. i'm not an avid collector of anything like stamps or... i don't know, whatever people collect. haha. but i have a ton of STUFF. hence why i put "stuff" at the bottom. and i realized i never throw anything away because i'm collecting the memories that go with them, so i collect memories. and i'm photographer and i LOVE pictures, so i collect those too. and i have a quote book with my favorite quotes in it, so i wrote that. i kind of copied my bff danielle with "dreams," but when i saw hers i realized how good that is. i think our dreams are one of the things that make us such good friends. we're both dreamers, always thinking and planning our life and everything we want to do in it. i think she's a bit closer to her dreams than mine, but i still have a ton :)

day nine.

Journal Prompt 9: Choose another person who is very significant in your life right now. It can definitely be the same person that we wrote about on day 3, but I chose to do someone different. Anyway, this prompt is going to be all about those wonderful adjectives, and typography. Describe your special person with as many words as you can fit. For each word, try to use a different font or writing style. This is a great way to practice fun typography!



i'm slowly but surely catching up! today is actually day 12, so hopefully i'll get the rest done today :)

this was another one that was hard for me to choose a person to write about. i chose tj because he's had such a big role in my life the past six months. he's the big brother i never had but always wanted and now that he's in my life i don't see him ever leaving. i wrote big brother at the top (using the greek alphabet... kind of. haha :D). he's technically not my "big brother" anymore, because i dropped my kkpsi process, but he always will feel like an older brother to me :)

i played around with different fonts this time too! aaand i was trying to fill in all the white space, but i ran out of things to fill it up with! haha. i used the greek alphabet, smiley faces, hearts, A+'s, HA's, music notes and teeth. haha.

anyways, now for day ten!!

AHHHH. i haven't been home in OVER A WEEK. i'm super excited to see my family again because i've been missing them HARDCORE. seriously. this whole week has been so weird. spending over a week with another family can be the strangest thing. all week i wished that i was on vacation with my family and that i was spending all my time with them.

AHH. okay, we're leaving. i'll finish this later but for now, yay! i'm going home :)

day eight.

Prompt 8:
Today, I want you to illustrate an "inside joke." I want this to be a page that only you and a few other people would get. Inside jokes are always fun (well, when you are apart of them I guess).
I have a journal page from my first year in college where I filled the entire page with inside jokes. Ummmm....I only "get" like two of them :) I have no clue what the other ones even mean anymore. Isn't that crazy?
Easy enough :)



so this one is a few days late, but we finally had kind of an off day, so i took advantage to play catch up. i'm still two, almost three days behind, but... whatever.

my roommate from this past year at nau was seriously one of my best friends and we had the BEST inside jokes. i seriously have never had inside jokes as good as ours. so i dedicated this page to her and all of our inside jokes. i'm not going to explain any of them either because well... it wouldn't be an inside joke then... riiiight?! haha.

i'm officially behind :/ i'll probably catch up when i get home, which is tomorrow. okay. i have to go now, bye.

day seven.

Journal Prompt 7: Today is an easy one... How are you feeling today? Sometimes it's really good to reflect on your feelings and try to figure out why you are feeling a certain way.



again, this one is kind of simple and self explanatory. it probably took me the least amount of time. i drew the disneyland thing because i'm going to disneyland tomorrow! we're in the redlion hotel right now, and it's really nice!

aaanyways. i can't wait to be home soon. byyeee.

day six.

Journal Prompt Number 6:
It's time...
It's definitely time to do something. It may be a new season for you in your life, or a time to make some goals, or it may just be time to relax (because it's Saturday right?).
Draw something that represents the word time and then make a list of things that you need to do at this time in your life, or day, or week :)



so, i've consistently posting these a morning late, but at least i'm getting them done!! i'm not sure how good the next three will be though. disneyland tomorrow and wednesday!! :D

anyways. so i think a lot of these are self explanatory, but the last one should say stand my ground, not keep it. i didn't realize until right after i did it with sharpie. i drew a pocket watch because... well i don't really know why. i looked up time trying to come up with something unique, and i saw this and decided to go for it. it's not the best... but it's almost now o'clock, so i better start keeping to all of these goals :) hahaha. so cheesy. anyways.

i'm kind of homesick at this point. i miss my family. especially my dad and stepmom. usually when i go traveling like this and to this area i'm with my dad. i kind of wish he was here :/ oh well.
